Learn about cinema lighting in community with other women.

We train women who want to work in the lighting departments on film sets.

Lighting departments in India, as in many parts of the world, have almost no women technicians. This makes it hard for women to imagine themselves in these roles, let alone break in.

Our training program has been born out of the desire to help change this and create a more equitable Indian film industry. Our trainees receive hands-on instruction from established industry mentors and are placed in on-set internships.

Our recently concluded pilot workshop was a huge success, with 9 trainees, 8 mentors and many smiles. Take a peek, frame by frame.
